Good afternoon,

My joy in the sound and the playing of the trumpet has always existed. Born in 1966, at the age of 9 I first took the tenor horn and half a year later the trumpet. Since then it is my constant companion. From 1987 until 2021 I took over the choral conducting of the trombone choir in Wetter, where I have been a member since 1975.

In the decades as a brass player I played in various choirs from the region as a guest musician and performed solos at special events. Intermediate lessons with professional trumpeters or the participation in brass training workshops contributed to the musical development.

My dream of a brass group that thrills people with classical and modern brass music became reality with the first rehearsal of Sound of Brass on March 17, 2018.
