CONCERT "SPRING BRASS"
Welcome spring with us musically!
Only a few days before our
concert planned for Sunday, March 22, 2020,
we received the information that it could no longer take place. Of course we were quite disappointed.
All the more we are pleased today to be able to invite you cordially to join us on
Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 5 p.m. (admission from 4.30 p.m.)
to welcome spring with a good mood and lots of music.
This time the program includes pieces from Age Nielsen, Antonio Vivaldi, Edvard Grieg, Georg Friedrich Händel, Giovanni Gabrieli, Johann Sebastian Bach, Ingo Luis, Jens Uhlenhoff Reinhard Gramm, Michael Schütz, Per Harling and Richard Roblee.
We are very happy that Annika Bartelt will take over the moderation and lead us a little into the world of brass blowing.
As always, admission is free.
If you liked the concert, we would of course be happy to receive a friendly donation at the exit.

Title: Sound of Brass - soundcheck
The venue: the Ruhr Valley Cathedral in Wetter
The Lutheran Church in Wetter - because of its exceptional size and monumentality also called Ruhrtaler Cathedral -
was built between 1904 and 1906 in the Gothic Revival style with reference to Romanesque forms.
The construction was the outstanding task at the beginning of the 20th century for the church.
After extensive renovation in the years 1994 to 2004, the house of God now shines in new splendor.
The special acoustics of this monument turns every concert into a very special experience.

Your way to the venue
The Lutheran Church is located in the heart of Alt-Wetter, just steps away from the train station.
There you will also find plenty of parking.
And now we wish you a lot of pleasure with "Spring Brass".
Note: This concert takes place in cooperation with Ev.-luth. Kirchengemeinde Wetter (Ruhr).
