JUBILEE CONFIRMATION
Musical accompaniment of the church service
In bright sunshine the Ev. Luth. Parish Wetter (Ruhr) invited in the Ruhr Valley Cathedral
to celebrate the annual festival service to celebrate the jubilee confirmation.
Musically, this was accompanied by the church choir of the community, the organist and us.
Unfortunately, our tenor trombonist Axel Demtröder was busy, so Peter Dembler thankfully agreed to support us. He already did so at this year's Kirchentag in Dortmund.
In a 9 min. lasting compilation, we have prepared extracts from the played for you:
-
00:08 - Alles, was ihr tut by Dietrich Buxtehude,
-
01:11 - Tut mir auf die schöne Pforte by Joachim Neander,
-
01:32 - Nun danket alle Gott by Johann Sebastian Bach,
-
02:08 - Concerto by Traugott Fünfgeld,
-
03:07 - Élèvation by Alexandre Guilmant,
-
04:33 - You raise me up by Rolf Løvland,
-
06:03 - Möge die Straße (Irisches Segenslied),
-
07:33 - Bourrée by Georg Friedrich Händel,
Due to the spatial conditions, we positioned a microphone immediately in front of us and combined this recording with that of the video camera. Optimal is certainly different, but perhaps sufficient for a little reminder.
