"SUMMERTIME BRASS"
Concert as part of the 15th Herdecker Summer Music Days in the Collegiate Church
Especially in the summertime you spend your free time in the fresh air under a blue sky.
All the more we were delighted yesterday Sunday with the numerous visitors to our concert Summertime Brass (see also concert announcement from 7 April 2019 ), which took place during the 15th Herdecker Summer Music Days.

Thomas Küstermann, Superintendent off-duty, welcomed us. Torsten Mühlhoff acted as moderator and led through the concert – with information on the pieces, the composer and some anecdotes from the history of music. Musical deviation was guaranteed with pieces from the Baroque to contemporary composers.
Challenging was certainly the – with about 9 seconds reverberation – tremendous acoustics of the collegiate church, which let the sounds merge into itself. On site, here the human ear assists in filtering out the "right" sounds, but sound recording with non-dedicated microphones can not afford this.
Despite this "audio-technically" somewhat challenging environment, we have created a compilation to commemorate this beautiful event, which also includes the 3 encores. That our music was so well appreciated, made us very pleased – thanks to all concert-goers!
A small compilation
From the background of the collegiate church, we have recorded our concert in picture and sound. In favor of a still manageable total length of 20 minutes, we only provide individual pieces here.
